Ever since I bought my first car I have enjoyed doing maintenance to fix or replace things like air filters and light bulbs. My first car was a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro SS with a 305 V8 engine that was already 8 years old when I bought it. As you can imagine it needed a lot of up keep and I had a lot of fun working on it. When I went to college I worked at
Discount Auto Parts (Advanced Auto Parts now) and Pep Boys for 4 years. I have had many other cars since then but I still enjoy the do-it-yourself maintenance. Simple automotive maintenance can be
expensive if you pay someone else to do it, but if you do it your self you can save a lot of money. So I created this page to give others tips and information they may be looking for while doing their own
car maintenance and repair on their own vehicles. I am not an expert and you should always refer to your owner's manual for specific OEM guidelines and maintenance intervals for your vehicle. These
automotive guides are intended for picture illustration only and I do not take any responsibility for any damage caused to yourself or your vehicle. If you have any questions you should consult a
qualified mechanic. Please read Disclaimer.
